Little Girls
An original Quilting Bee Design by Cathy Parker
There are twelve different small 9" blocks in this set. The little girls are all playing. One is jumping rope, one is playing jacks, one is pushing a buggy, one is having tea with her doll, etc. These designs, used alone, make a darling baby quilt for a girl. Try them as side blocks with many of the other patterns, too. 12 different 9-inch blocks
This is an outline embroidery pattern suitable for Redwork, Bluework or Greenwork.
About Redwork:
Redwork is a simple form of embroidery from the 1800s using a simple linear style of embroidery done with red floss. Patterns are usually created from simple line drawings of family and home themes or special events. Turkey Red and Indigo Blue were the original colors used in the 1800s as they were safe from bleeding or fading.
