It's very hard to find these necklaces nowadays. This one is very special, lipstick red tubular beads finished by bead caps in sand color, which are also carved. The glass is likely poured into a mold but the look is carved. To enhance the pattern on the red beads gold paint was applied to recessed areas. It is mostly there, but the gold has mellowed in color which in my opinion just makes it more appealing. Great early Art Deco style.
