Unbelievable as it may seem, we came across 22 of these un-issued Kern spotting scopes built in 1977, at the supply dump in Thun. Brand-new with case and tripods. Hate to know what Kern charged the Swiss army for these delectable rabbit ears. (As you know, the 183 year old Swiss optical house Kern, little known outside of military circles, was taken over by optical giant, Leica). Lets face it, finer optics dont exist
Included are internal laser protection filters, individually focusing eyepieces, long eye relief, interpupillary (IPD) adjustment, internal scale reticle and multi-coated optics. Their resolution and brightness are truly exceptional and will blow your mind. Each unit comes with two tripods. One for your desktop, the other for the floor. The scope is contained in a fitted HD plastic container with straps and latch. measures 13 x 5 x 5 and weighs 10 lbs 7.3 oz with case and desktop tripod. Fast set-up, easy to use!
