The Carousel News & Trader Brief History:
The Carousel News & Trader was started in 1985 by the late Nancy Loucks as an expression of her love for carousels and her vision of the need for an independent source for carousel news and interaction among carousel enthusiasts all over the world.
The first issue was an eight page black and white newsletter that was distributed free to introduce people to the concept. It grew slowly at first, then when it became a color publication it took off. By the early 1990s there were thousands of readers all over the world.
It continues to be the best print source for all aspects of carousel related news and information. The publication welcomes stories and input from any reader or leads of carousel happenings of any kind.
There are 12 full-color issues published per year; January, February, March (Carvers Issue), April (Buyers Guide issue), May, June, July, August, September, October, November, and December.
