10K gold shell cameo brooch or pendant, depending on your mood. Beautifully carved with plenty of depth, the cameo is encased in a nicely etched 10K gold frame. The bail is on a swivel hinge so that you can fold it down when wearing this piece as a brooch. The pin clasp is u-shaped and has a fold over mechanism that just catches the pin to keep it in place. I.e., it doesn't swivel all the way around, and is not meant to. The clasp is marked 10K. The shell has a beautiful translucency when held up to the light. Excellent condition. This comes from a family member who no longer wears cameos. Measures 1 1/3" x 1".
