The beautiful damask blade of this Santoku knife consists of 33-layers damask steel. The blade has a core of high-quality stainless VG-10 steel. On both sides of the core 16 layers of soft steel are forged. This gives the knife beside its best cutting behaviour also a high elasticity. The blade is razor sharp and polished on both sides.
