Japanese chefs knife Santoku - 101 layers finest damask steel - Stainless -
Manufactured by ATHRO®, the legendary knives forge of Seki, the famous Japanese city of the sharp blades!
The beautiful damask blade of this Santoku knife consists of 101(!)-layers finest damask steel. The blade has a core of high-quality stainless VG-10 steel. On both sides of the core 50 layers of soft steel are forged. This gives the knife beside its best cutting behaviour also a high elasticity. The blade is razor sharp and polished on both sides. The black handle is ergonomically shaped and is made of fine-grained Stamina wood. Therefore the handle is so elegant in optics and material as the great damask-grain of the blade. Stamina is a wood, which is stabilized with synthetic resin and thus particularly resistant to moisture. Of course this extremely high-quality knife is not dishwasher-safe. It must necessarily be cleaned by hand. You will receive this beautiful knife in a decorative gift box.
The extreme sharpness, the optimal cutting behaviour and the beauty of this Japanese Santoku chef knife will surprise you.
