1883 that covers every aspect of the operations of the navies
in the American Civil War - approximately 900 pages of information
in total. The collection was written by a variety of authors
(shown below for each volume) and includes the following topics:
Soley, J.R. - The blockade and the cruisers
Ammen, D. - The Atlantic Coast
Mahan, A.T. - The Gulf and inland waters
