This great 1930s enameled pot metal floral brooch has softly colored flowers and leaves and measures 3 1/8" x 2" at its widest point. The pin is attached directly to the brooch and is in great condition, with none of the usual bends that appear in these brooches over time. About 1/2 to 3/4 of the original goldwash is still present. The larger flower has a highly domed clear moonstone cabochon, while the smaller flowers have lost their center rhinestones. I will be glad to add rhinestones for you in the colors of your choice, or to leave it as is--your preference. Minor enamel wear. Overall good condition. A similar brooch can be seen in Maryanne Dolan's "Collecting Rhinestone and Colored Jewelry" with a book value of $145. A fine example of early vintage costume jewelry.
