A beautiful 1930s enamel orchid flower pin with painstaking detail and a large prongset topaz rhinestone. This pin is very light, weighing only 8 grams, possibly suggesting stamped brass or plastic. There are no markings on the pin. Measures 3 1/3" at its widest point. A wonderful example of the way that art was incorporated into the costume jewelry of the earlier decades. A nice piece for the antique and vintage jewelry collector.
Condition: Excellent, especially considering its age, with only a few very small chips on the enamel (noticeable closeup, but not much from any distance.)
