BEE POLLEN SMOOTHIE
2 cups skim or soya milk
1 tsp flaxseed or starflax oil (essential fatty acids)
1-2 tsp Manuka Honey
1 – 3 tsp Comvita Bee Pollen Granules (vitamins and energy)
1 tbsp lecithin powder or granules (for lowering cholesterol)
1 banana (potassium)
1 tsp vanilla essence(optional)
Put into a blender milk, oil, honey, Comvita Bee Pollen and vanilla – blend on low.
Add lecithin, and banana. Blend until smooth.
Enjoy as an energy boosting breakfast drink.
Different ideas: try replacing the milk with plain yogurt.
Add ½ tsp food yeast, 1 tbsp wheatgerm, or 1 tsp dolomite for extra goodness.
