Sparkling blue rhinestone brooch that is often described as a comet, a whirlpool, or the eye of a hurricane. Domed in the center of the main portion where there is a large round rhinestone, it then swirls counterclockwise until it ends in three 'tails'. All rhinestones are prongset and in very good condition. The setting is silvertone. This vintage costume jewelry brooch, circa 1950s, measures 2" across and 2 1/4" high. It has an attached pin assembly and is in excellent condition.
