Gorgeous vintage Hillcraft iridescent Czech glass parure set in squared goldfilled wire and topped with aurora borealis rhinestones. The necklace has seven disks measuring 3/4" in diameter and are set into the wire and joined with double jump rings. It is 16 1/2" long and has a unique clasp through which a bead is pushed and held into place. The construction of the bracelet is the same and it is 8" long. The disks on the bracelet measure just under 1". The pin measures 1 1/8" and has a brass pinback glued to the back of the disk. The squared wire that surrounds the disk is held into place with filigree that folds over each side of the disk and is soldered to the wire. The earrings are similarly constructed, but have a section of wire that is folded over the back of the disks to form what would be considered clips to hold the earrings in place on your ears. They are 3/4" in diameter. Based on the constsruction, particularly the use of the squared wire, and on the glass disks, I would guess this set to be from the 50s or so. Whatever its age, it is a dazzling set that is perfect for evening wear. It is in excellent condition with no flaws that I can see.
